Introduction to Security 

Course Description: The training class is produced to instill motivation and dedication for applicants as well as for your current security officers. It highlights most issues that confront security officers every day. Its main objective is to decrease turnover and create a mindset that will produce better employees. Access Control Magnetometers & Hand-Held Wands

Course Description:  In today's world access control systems have become en extremely prominent tool to reduce breaches of security. This Access Control training class gives security officers a clear understanding of the various access control systems being used today. It will help the Officer become familiar with the procedures, terminology,and concepts commonly seen in the industry. Topics covered are , how to use a hand held detector, magnetometers, x-ray detection systems, concert control, sporting events, courthouse access, gated communities, office building lobbies, identification systems, card access control, and more. Court Procedures

Course Description: The class explains how the court system works in an easy to understand verbal and visual format. It demonstrates how security officers should conduct themselves in court and the correct way to testify and make a professional and positive impression to the judge and jury. Fire Watch

Course Description: This training class covers a wide range of subjects to give the security officer basic knowledge in the use of portable fir extinguishers, fire stands, sprinkler systems, fire doors, fire control panels, and other fire retardant equipment that the security officer may be responsible for. A few of the topics covered are: how to report a fire, what do look for during regular rounds, fire prevention, overview of the fire extinguisher system, familiarity of portable fire extinguishers, evacuation and exit procedures, elevator and escalator use during emergencies, and more. This class is taught by current and former law enforcement officers as well as security supervisors through lecture, video, and PowerPoint.

Handcuffing Techniques

Course Description: Handcuffing a detained person, whether a prisoner or just for officer safety is extremely common and necessary however proper training is lacking and severely underutilized. This class will teach the police officer, security officer, or military personal the proper way to handcuff to prevent injury to the detained person to limit the officers and departments liability and exposure. Additionally with this class being advanced, the student will learn ways that handcuffs can be used not only as a method of detention but as a self defense weapon, compliance tool, and also go into restraint positions, firing while securing a handcuffed person, and various self defense strategies. This class is taught by current and former law enforcement officers as well as security supervisors through lecture, video, and PowerPoint.

Course Description: This training class defines various levels of interviews such as interviewing a witness, a victim, and a suspect. Self-Defense Mindset and Awareness

Course Description: Self-Defense Mindset and Awareness is the ability to identify, process, and comprehend the critical elements of information about what is happening to you with regards to your daily goals. Situation awareness involves being aware of what is happening in the vicinity, in order to understand how information, events, and one's own actions will impact goals and objectives, both immediately and in the near future. Lacking or inadequate situation awareness has been identified as one of the primary factors in accidents attributed to human error. Thus, situation awareness is especially important in work domains where the information flow can be quite high and poor decisions may lead to serious consequences. This presentation focuses on how a non-sworn citizen (not a soldier or a police officer) can comfortably integrate awareness and the proper mindset into daily life. Keep yourself and your loved ones safe without becoming paranoid or afraid. Law of Arrest

Course Description: The training class gives the security officer a basic overview of the law of arrest. It does not get into specific state laws but demonstrates to the security officer the common laws of arrest and is designed to show the security officer the limitations of their authority. The training reduces liability exposure of the security company and for the clients as well. Some of the topics covered are: felonies and misdemeanors, avoiding lawsuits, over of legal authority, what constitutes an arrest, when is an arrest legal or illegal, what is citizens arrest, what is probable cause, questioning a suspect, searching a prisoner, what are fruits of a crime, search authority, searching procedures, what constitutes excessive force, and more.  This class is taught by current and former law enforcement officers as well as security supervisors through lecture, video, and PowerPoint.

Mobile Patrol

Course Description: This training class stresses the importance of high visibility and flexibility while mobile patrolling. Designed to teach a security officer the various techniques and requirements when assigned to a patrol car from a vehicle inspection to the actual patrol. Pepper Spray Techniques

Course Description: The training class is a must for security officers that are armed with pepper spray. This class teaches the various techniques in dispersing pepper spray as well as the legal and moral aspects involved. Course Description: If the security officer doesn't have an understanding of good public relations, it can have a negative effect with the companies clients, customers, their employees, and the public. In addition, it could have a lasting and damaging impression regarding the companies reputation. Course Description: Report writing is an essential responsibility for all security officers, and one of the most difficult to master. Terrorism Awareness

Course Description: This training class illustrates ad instructs the security officer on the basic responsibilities needed to prevent and/or reduce a terrorist attack at their post.
